In 2010, my body flatlined.
I had ignored every whisper telling me to slow down. Self-care was thrown out the window. Burnout wasn’t a buzzword then.
It was my reality.
Lying in a sterile hospital room depleted, I faced a truth I couldn’t avoid:
I didn’t know who I was anymore-
or why I was doing any of it.
That moment became my wake-up call. Being disconnected from self was more dangerous than changing.
So I chose to move.
